Introduction

This article will show you how to create a backup in cPanel


Requirement

You will need to have the cPanel panel as well as its credentials

 

Steps

  • After logging into the panel it will be possible to find it Backup

    •  Next, click on "Download a full account backup "

 

 

 

For the backup destination, leave "Home Directory", so once the backup is finished, it will be possible to retrieve/download it from the root directory, public _html.

The name of the backup will appear as "backup-3.2.2020_19-57-05_hostico.tar.gz "

For the other field, "Email Address", a mailbox will be entered so that the notification of the end of the backup will be sent to it

On the contrary, in order not to receive the notification on a specific box, check "Do not send email notification of backup completion."

So that the backup can be done -> "Generate Backup "
